Since I love bedding, this was a very exciting weekend for me. We've been sleeping with sort of hacked together bedding on our queen-size bed for a while now — two flat sheets (instead of a fitted and a flat, and one of those flat sheets was a full-size sheet), a full-size fleece blanket, and a twin-size comforter. But on Saturday we went to get new bedding! We got these flannel!!! sheets, this fleece blanket, and (I think) this duvet cover, as well as a comforter/duvet to go inside it. I say "I think" because I wouldn't have described the color as taupe, but it was the closest I could find on Target's website and probably is actually the color. Sort of mocha-y. I'm very pleased with the mocha-y duvet cover and chocolate fleece blanket because I feel that almost any sheet color can go with them. Even patterns. Sweet. I love flannel sheets. Everything got washed up yesterday, so last night was the first night in the newly bedding-ed bed, and it was glorious.
Oh yeah, and we also got a new shower caddy. One that my monstrous bottles of shampoo and conditioner can fit into. I think I added triple the number of items to the shower when I moved in. Is that the correct way to say it? There were two and now there are eight. So I quadrupled the number or added triple the number?? Ooo, no, there are now nine. I quadruple-point-five-ed the number of items.
I have the same fleece blanket, only green, my friend Christy gave it to me for christmas last year, she has the same one in white.
