No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

college
As I was walking home from work the other day, I was thinking about why I loved college so much. And I decided it was because it was four years of feeling the anticipation of something great happening. Or maybe that's just the way I like to remember it. Being surrounded by so many great people really increased the likelihood of memorable experiences. Don't get me wrong – I love my life now, but I don't live with the daily anticipation of something great happening. The feelings I live with now that I love are those of comfort, security, and familiarity. A good place to be.

Oh my gosh! I love the gilmore girls too! I also didn't start watching it until way late. I did not really care for how they ended the series though, I just wasn't ready. haha. I don't have cable and the onyl channel I get is the CW. Have you watched Gossip Girl? I've fallen in love with it. I pretty much want to be an upper east side high school student when I grow up now.
ReplyDeleteErin, are you sure you're not ready to get divorced and marry me instead? I think ti's obvious that we are the ultimate couple.
are we lame for talking about TV all the time? Someday when I see you again I can bring you seasons 1 and 2 of OTH on DVD, Colby buys me this sort of stuff for gifts because he thinks I'm hard to shop for or something...who knows.
Good times.
