little differences in life

• composting
• garbage disposal!
• sink sprayer!
• no dishwasher
• no bags in trashcans
• shower that's not also a bathtub
• feeling free to live in a whole house, not just one room
• 2 cars
• 2 cats
• having a land line
• walking to the post office to get/send mail
• washer & dryer!
• no wrap-around front porch for sitting, but
• a nice back patio with patio furniture for sitting -- especially nice for eating new year's cookies and drinking coffee last saturday morning
• gas stovetop/oven
• refrigerator and freezer that actually work
  
• fireplace!
• double french doors!
• garage!
• never having to park on the street!
