Friends of some acquaintances of ours just lost their 11-month-old daughter to cancer that was diagnosed only about two weeks ago. I don't know them at all, but I started reading their blog after Facebook statuses of my acquaintances listed it, and I'm feeling very sad for the family. How do you even begin to make sense of something like this? I mean, you don't. You don't make sense of something like this. But how do you even begin to recover from something like this?
