First, though, a couple of highlights from the weekend were a Wind Ensemble and Jazz concert featuring the amazing guest trumpeter Allen Vizzutti, and eating at Bangkok (one of our favorite restaurants) that was also being frequented by "local celebrity" Dave Freeman.
The bulk of our weekend was spent mattress shopping. I'm happy to say that yesterday (Mattress Shopping Day #2), we were finally able to make a decision and purchased a mattress. I can't wait for when we can bring it home. I believe this is the first new mattress I'll sleep on since the one I got when I left the crib, and Brian doesn't think he's ever had a new mattress. These are exciting times, people, exciting times.
