Friday – ate Chinese food for supper; saw Juno
Saturday, aka the day of beautiful weather – slept in; got in a couple-hour workout; took in some Kansas Day activities at the museum, including a lecture from a local tv meteorologist about severe weather in KS; took my book to the coffee shop and read while drinking (and spilling) a pumpkin spice latte; pizza with Nate and Esther; went to the basketball game, which ended favorably for our team
Sunday – church; chili/potato soup dinner; church meeting...until 3pm; shelf assembly; kitchen organization; really quick Taco Tico supper; cookie baking with Esther and Alice; Buffy with Ruth and Jesse
Last night was perhaps the first time since the new year I haven't taken some sort of NyQuil-esque medication before bed. I think there are warnings about that kind of thing, but sheesh, my dang nose and throat preventing me from sleeping! I hope this will soon end for good. Now I will go make myself some chai.
Haven't made the chicken. I went to the store to buy everything but forgot the tomatoes. So I've been waiting. But I hope it happens soon.
